Long time Renegades Tom Hodges has been making waves in his first year on the College Volleyball scene in the USA.  Playing with the Pacific men's team in the NCAA, Tom continued the dominating form he'd displayed playing with Renegades in the VVL and was rewarded with selection in the Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American Team as an Opposite.

After the 2 week split round 1, it was great to get all of our VVL teams out and about in a flood or Red at the State Volleyball Centre.

Mens Division 2 - Blue def Heidelberg (3-0) 25-22 25-19 25-14

From Yi Han: On the contrary to our first game, we had a great start, 6-0. But I made a few really simply mistakes in defence during the middle stage. Heidelberg took advantage of them, and gradually narrowed the gap to only 2 points. Luckily, we were able to keep calm, made fewer mistakes, and won the first set by 3 points.
