Training Begins Week of 23 January

Hopefully everyone is all rested up after the epic 2011 Vball season, as 2012 Vball is rolling around quicker than ever.

Training begins Monday 23 Jan for the ladies, and Tuesday 24 Jan for the men.  Monday & Tuesday trainings will be at Melbourne Uni Sports Centre 7.30 - 10.00.  Sessions will combine some fitness and ball work.

Thursday sessions will begin on Feb 2nd at Maribyrnong College, 7:30 - 10:00.

Renegades looking for coaches

The Club is seeking Expressions of Interest from enthusiastic volunteers to apply for a coaching role for either the women’s, men’s, junior boys or junior girls programs during 2012 and onwards.

It's Australia Day this Thursday, so instead of training we expect everybody to be cranking out some BBQ's, downing some tinnies and maybe even having a tonk of cricket in the park. Training will run next week as normal on Monday (women), Tuesday (men), and Thursday (men & women).

Melbourne Renegades (the big bash league cricket team) has kindly supplied us with 20 tickets so that we can see our cricketing namesakes in action.  The game is on Thursday, Jan 12 @ 7PM, and the tickets are available for the first 20 members who let Eric (eric@renegades.com.au) know they're interested.

Cheering for RENEGADES is one thing we all know how to do, so let's put our skills to some use during the offseason!
