The money raised at the 2009 Trivia night is going towards subsidising a new, one off Hoodie for club members. Unfortunately, the progress in making this happen has so far been quite slow – we have come up with one possible design but it has the potential to be vastly improved upon (see attached for current design).

aka "I can't believe it's not preseason"

Now that the state league and social volleyball trainings have wound down slightly and somebody's gone and turned the sun back on, it seems like the perfect time to head outdoors.  Last year we experimented with playing Ultimate Frisbee during the offseason and it proved to be a great way of sneaking in some fitness without realising it (oh no, the trickery!). So we put our heads together and thought long and hard about something similar to do this year, and we came up with... Ultimate Frisbee!

That's right, we all enjoyed it so much that we're going to start up the Ultimate Frisbee action again, starting this Thursday (that's tomorrow) night.  Everybody's encouraged to come along and join in, we deliberately chose Ultimate because we're all pretty average at it and it's easy to pick up. We'll be meeting on the ovals next to the childrens hospital at 7pm Thursday nights for the foreseeable future. If you're keen, check out the frisbee group on the website for all the latest goss and direction. See you there!
