ash gibbs returns to warrnambool for avl 2002

Melbourne University Renegades member Ash 'Spud' Gibbs returns to his home town of Warrnambool this weekend to make his AVL debut against Monash University. MU Renegades will be hosting the opening match of the 2002 Australian Volleyball League, the first to be held outside of a capital city.
The Warrnambool State Cup has been the traditional start to the indoor volleyball season for Victorian players for more than 20 years and provides a great opportunity for the club to promote itself with the AVL in regional Victoria.
