Melbourne University Renegades Formed

The Melbourne University Renegades Volleyball Club was unanimously voted in as the name of the new Victorian volleyball club formed through merging of the memberships of Footscray Renegades Volleyball Club and Melbourne University Volleyball Club at a Special General Meeting tonight. A new club constitution, colours and logos were also all agreed on.

The elected committee includes :

Treasurer: Gus Cirillo

Public Officer: Phillip Peacock
Operations Manager: Kerry Oataway
Group Marketing Manager: Rosemary Bissett
Association Delegate: Martene Bond
Melbourne University Liason Officer: Fiona Tarquinio
Social Committee Co-ordinator: Philip Richter

The positions of Coaching Director and Junior Co-ordinator have not been filled at this time.

This is an exciting new start for the two clubs, with a big and bright future ahead.
