Melb Uni Men win Silver at Austyralian University Games

The Melbourne University Renegades men's team won silver at the2002 Australian University Gamesin Adelaide last week. A good 3-1 win againstUniversity of Sydney in the semi-final saw them come up against the only otherundefeated team in the tournament, University of South Australia (USA).The grand final was a tough affair, going all the way to five sets.But it was USA who kept their heads for a 15:13 victory in the fifth.

The Melbourne Uni women's team lost their quarter final to Deakin and had to settle for a playoff for 7th and 8th place. To their credit they finished the week well with a 3-1 win over Flinders University, securing 7th spot.
