Melbourne Uni Mens Volleyball Team Reaches Semi Finals at AUG 2002

The Melbourne University Men's team has reached the semi finalsat the 2002 Australian University Gamesin Adelaide. The team has not yet lost a match and had a comfortable 3-0win over RMIT in their quarter final. Also reaching the semi finals arethe University of Sydney, University of South Australia and Monash University.

The Melbourne University Women's team lost just one match in their round matches and had to go through the repecharge where they faced the University of Newcastle. A straight sets win saw them come up against cross-town rivals Monash University in the quarter final. Unfortunately, Monash were too good and put the Melbourne Uni side out with a 3-1 victory.
