The Junior Girls Grand Final at Kew High School will be an all Renegades affair, with both teams going through in four sets.

The Blue team (coached by Dave), overcame Mak Six, including 6-foot tall (and ironically named) Emily Short who trained with Renegades Div 2 Blue this year. Mak Six were spirited, but weren't playing three hit volleyball, and were no match for the Blues.

The Red team (coached by Jeremy) defeated the Academy of Mary Immaculate. Reds played top quality volleyball, being the only team in the competition to play with a 5-1 setting system, and took the first two sets quite comfortably. Academy appeared to have dropped their heads, but came back and deservedly took the third set. Reds came back in the fourth to win the match 3-1. In an interesting side-note, the opposition captains played together for Div 2 Blue in a final the next day, beating Renegades Red and earning a Grand Final spot.

The all Renegades Grand Final will be held next week at 6:15pm at Kew High School.
