A Story About Volleyball

By Cress Savige.
There once was a group of beautiful girls that loved something that was known by most people as volleyball. It was thought to be just another sport where you had to run around chasing some ball or other, and in the meantime got distracted from the usual day part of your life.
But it was not known that these people were actually involved wholeheartedly in a truly fun and joyful enterprise that helped to make everything seem alright. These amazing and cool girls could get together and eat and eat as much as they liked: yes... chocolate, cream, Macca's... and as much as their other friends would agonise and worry about these terrible activities, the little renegades would just race off to training and run and jump to their heart's content.
Sometimes these girls would even partake of some of that lovely amber liquid and have so much fun and laugh so hard all at once, that they would even feel a bit sick the next day! Well, then as silly as they might have been, and as bright as the day might seem, they would crawl out from under their doonas and get together at training again. After running and sweating and more sweating (and a bit of sleep), they would finally feel fully recovered and even talk about doing it all again some day.
These girls were a team and they loved it. Sometimes they whined a bit, and maybe every now and then they got a bit sick of it, but they loved their volleyball and little did the rest of the world guess why.
