The End of the World Party

By Gavin Penny.
This party has been in the pipeline for seven years. Since 1990, dates have been written in diaries across Australia. The Terminator 2 party was held on the 29th of August, 1997. It was the date in the movie in which our civilisation came to an end.
It is hard for me to write about this huge party, as the whole thing left me a bit confused. I was first puzzled when I awoke the next morning, did civilisation end? I would dare not believe that TV and Movies would lie to me, so I was a little bewildered. I was also stumped as to how all the food in the house got eaten: I don't remember cooking, preparing, serving or eating any of it, but it was all gone in the morning.
I think that a lot of people came, but I have been told "What a party!" by people whom I don't think were there, so I can't be certain. I'm also presuming that it was pretty much a Renegades party, but then there are already three club members living in this household, and aren't we always having a party? Anyway, what is the minimum number of people for a party?
Other points that were perplexing were, how come no one ate the fairy bread until it was announced that you could only have five pieces? How did our very white floor become black? How is Dean going to put back that wood he borrowed? How did Debbie play so well the next day?
So while my understanding of some things may be lacking, I do know that people had a great time. When is Nostradamus' next prediction for the end of the world so that we can have another big party and forget the consequences?
PS. It is rumoured that there is photographic evidence that Dave (Warwick) cooked and served the food (he's such a reliable and organised guy). Dean and Kev also did a quick head count and found that at least 64 people were there at some stage of the night. Who has answers to the rest of these questions?
