Renegades will once again be entering the 2012 Warrnambool Seaside Tournament. This is one of the clubs major preseason tournaments used to finalise our teams heading into the VVL season.
We'll be starting to take names and arrange teams in the 3rd week of training, so make sure you've checked your diaries!

Last weekend 9 boys & 9 girls made the short trip to Mornington (thank you Eastlink) to compete in the Mizuno Vic Open Championship.
Slowly we trickled into the Dromana Caravan Park and discovered we were a mostly international crew, with 11 of the 18 Renegades coming from 11 different countries! The boys team welcomed new recruits from the Netherlands (Jesper) & England (Matt). Bernd (from Austria) was also on the team. I put my hand up to be the token Aussie in the women's team, and had a great time mimicking everyone else's accents.

The 2011 Pre-Season tournaments have been played with some great results for Renegades.

Geelong Tournament
With this tournament only two weeks away, any player that wants to be considered for selection into a team must sign up tonight at the AGM. There will be no other opportunity to be included into a team as entries will be submitted tomorrow, Wednesday 16th March.
Ballarat Tournament

40 Renegades will be making the annual trek to the town of the Dirty Angel for the Warrnambool Seaside Volleyball Tournament. After almost 2 months of pre-season training, heading away to play some good quality volleyball will be a load of fun.
We'll be entering 2 Women's teams and 3 Men's teams in this 3 day event over the Labour Day weekend.
