The MU Renegades womens teams have led the way for the club during the first seven rounds of the 2005 Victorian Volleyball League season.

The Division 1 Women have enjoyed a fantastic start to the year, undefeated so far this season. A convincing straight sets victory over Yarra Ranges last weekend gave them their seventh win in as many rounds. Second placed Camberwell Cobras have been the only side to trouble the MU Renegades team, taking them to five sets in Round 1.

Also flying the Reds banner high are the Club's two Women's Division 2 teams. Melbourne Uni Renegades Red are on top of the ladder having lost just the one match last week to lowly ranked Eastside Hawks. The club's second Division 2 team, Melbourne Uni Renegades Blue are also playing well, currently in fourth spot after losing to Red in the intraclub derby a couple of weeks ago and to Southern Cross Fairhills last weekend.

The Honours Women and MU Renegades Red in Division 2 Men are both just outside the top-4 in their divisions, posting 2 and 3 wins respectively. And with the Honours Men defeating Yarra Ranges in straight sets last Saturday, all Melbourne University Renegades sides now have at least one win on the board.
