Lasagne anyone?

The weekend tournament started at 8AM against Phantoms from Geelong (with a couple of Renegades in disguise). They won 2-1 and we hoped that would be the hardest match up of the weekend. As it turned out we were right, and after 5 more games, a few beers, a lot of turkish bread and some classic sledging by Gillby we met them again in the final.

We were too busy watching Old Reds vs Renegades 1 in the mens Div 1 Grand Final to warm up properly but that didn't stop us from getting off to a great start by winning the 1st and 2nd sets. A 3rd set 'glitch' was fixed in the 4th and despite some father-daughter yellow card 'bullshit' we won the match and took home the large size Bendigo Pottery trophies. Congrats to Eva, Katie, Nicki, Christine, Gillby, Fiona and Flick. Lasagne anyone?
