A few of us have recently hit some milestones (like turning 30) and are realising that fitness isn't a given like it once was, it actually takes a bit of work. Unfortunately, laziness means that heading out for a run or gym session isn't going to happen as much as it should, and in the meantime the off season spare tyre is constantly inflating.

Enter, Ultimate Frisbee. We've decided that in lieu of an extended off season program, we're going to take a frisbee to Princes Park on Tuesday nights and have scratch matches of Ultimate Frisbee. None of us have played before which is why we chose Ultimate (so don't feel like you have to be any good to join in, we're all beginners). Ultimate also involves lots of running, sprinting, diving, catching and generally hanging out with others which we figured was all positive stuff as well.

Depending on how it all goes we might plan a few sessions down the beach, or maybe throw in a touch rugby session. We're up for anything as long as it's easy for anyone to play and involves a bit of fitness work that's actually fun.

If you're interested in joining us, rock up Tuesday or join the new group on the website to get the latest details.
