December Committee Meeting

The December Committee Meeting was held on Sunday.  Three main points that came out of the meeting were:

1.  Training will start back on the week of 17th January, 2011.  Training night and venues will be advised.

2.  The structure of the early bird payment has changed.  Discounts will be awarded to players who pay in full before they play (including pre-season tournaments).  The date for final payment will be May 31st, or one month after first game.  This change will save a significant amount of administration for the treasurer and operations manager by reducing transactions.

3. For 2011, the position of Coaching Director will be split into two roles, one for each of the mens and womens sides of the club.  This change will allow each director to focus more in their side of the club.  Previously it has not been practical for one person to attend enough trainings accross both genders, particularly if that person is also a player.
