Here come the finals

For most of the club another season has now come and gone, leaving us with sore bodies and a desire to celebrate with a big presentation night before possibly getting in a few sneaky tournaments before getting ready to do it all again next year.

But, for our division 2 blue men and division 1 women the week in week out grind has resulted in their chance carry the Renegades name into FINALS GLORY! It's also given the rest of us the chance to go nuts Renegades style by getting dressed up in red, grabbing the most annoying noise making device we own and dragging ourselves out to the state volleyball centre to chant Renegades chants and cheer our fellow club members onto victory!

Finals support has always been a massive part of Renegades culture and is something that opposition teams have learned to fear. Anybody who remembers the unleashing of the Renegades fury on Phil "crack the sooks and throw the ball over the stands into the next court while the ref's back is turned" DeSalvo also knows that the Renegades army in full flight can destroy opposition teams while making us more attractive to the opposite sex (obviously the thumping of Heidelberg from that point was all due to the crowd, the players were inconsequential pawns... or something like that).

This weeks Renegades finals action is scheduled for the following times:

• Div 2 Blue men: 10:30am, v Mornington
• Div 1 Women: 12:00pm, v Eastside Hawks
