I might make a bit of a permanent post here so that we can keep track of annette (actually, hopefully so we can keep track of the 4 nets we've got going around).

I'll check my garage, but I've got at least one, possibly two nets in there at the moment. I can't remember how many there are in the store room at uni, but I think there may only be one? I think there may be 1, possibly 2 more floating around out there. Anybody know more?

I'm trying to kick start some Ultimate Frisbee action on Tuesday nights in Princes Park (just near uni). I chose Ultimate because it involves a fair bit of running, and I'm pretty sure nobody's really played much so we're all going to be beginners (this way I won't get my arse kicked too much).

Hey -

I am looking for a player(s) to fill in for 2 on 2 beach v-ball in South Melbourne on Thursday night league. We play 2 matches, best of 3 games. The games start at 6:45. The cost is $15 per player, but I am happy to pick up the tab if you are happy to play.

Secondly, I am interested in joining the beach v-ball tournament in South Melbourne/St Kilda this coming weekend. I would like to play A grade, but happy to enter as B grade as well.

The call has gone out for volleyball tomorrow. Bedders is keen along with Eva, I'm planning to head down after work also.

Just checked the weather forecast max temp looks fine but the bit about winds and thunder storms might not be so great. We can play it by ear if it's nice turn up, if we need a dingy it's canceled.

Howdy,

I've set up this spanking new beach volleyball group on the Reds website, and if you're getting this I used my admin powers and forced you to sign up (mwuhahaha). If you're the easily offended type, then just unsubscribe yourself.

This is a bit like a Facebook group (for those Facebook users out there), but accessible to everyone. It will also email (by default anyway, you can turn it off if you prefer to subscribe via RSS) the post to you rather than forcing you to login to read it.

Anyway, hope you like it and use it, people have been asking me for something like this for ages (and if you haven't noticed, there are heaps of people interested in having a hit at the beach who aren't on our usual mailing lists).

Let me know if you have any issues.
