2008 Honours Men

Gus has informed me that if you're planning to play at the Bendigo tournament with us he will need to see you tomorrow night to confirm your participation. Apparently the tournament is filling fast and we've been told that if we don't confirm our entries by tomorrow night we're out of luck. In case you're searching for incentive to go, I'll be there. What more could you want?

The following players have either indicated
1. their availability for Mornington tournament,
2. their indicision,
3. or have not responded.

1. You are required at training next Tues. with $40.00 for tournament entry and to train within your team for the event.
2. Indicate what you have decided to me via email or sms

The Catholic All School volleyball champ.'s need two referees for their tournament on monday, 11th August (this Monday). They are at State Volleyball Centre from 9.00am to 3.00 pm. The standard is low and payment is $100.00 cash. There is a school bus leaving from Fitzroy if you require transport.

Gus has asked that we all wear our club tracksuits if possible for the junior clinic tonight.  So, if you're going home before heading to St Bernards, grab the tracksuit.

For those who've forgotten, all the div 1 and in particular Honours men are expected to come along to St. Bernards tonight for a junior clinic starting at 6pm.  Div 2 are also all invited to participate.

I'm writing from Guatemala, but the other day I was trying to keep in touch by finding some beach volleyball action on a nice white Carribean beach... mmm. It was nice, but then there were too many cocktail specials around to play for too long :)

BTW, what's with taking 5 sets against Mornington? Anyway, good luck against SC on the weekend, and catch you all in a few weeks.

After our junior girls tryout night last Thurs., we have assembled three teams to represent the club - one for junior state league and two for Friday night at St. Bernard's.

There are teacher / parent interviews at St Bernards this Thursday night so training will be on at Gilmore instead. Luckily you all remember where that is still (I hope).
