MURVC AGM - Compulsory event for all club members

This is a compulsory meeting for all club members/players (just coming to the pub afterwards doesn't count!). At the meeting, members accept the annual report and nominate for positions on the club management committee. See you all in Studio 8 (near the squash courts at MUS) at 7:30pm SHARP. Attendance will be recorded and afterwards we'll be heading to the pub.

If you want to have a say in how the club is run and give something back then think about nominating for one of the positions on the committee.

• President - Oversees all club activities
• Vice President - Assists the president and helps with the AVL team
• Treasurer - Keeps the books balanced
• Secretary - Schedules meetings, keeps track of action items and answers correspondence
• Association Delegate - Liaises with Volleyball Victoria
• Melb Uni Liaison Officer - A student who liaises with Melbourne Uni Sport
• Junior Coordinator - Looks after the Junior development side of the club
• Operations Manager - Looks after fees, equipment and uniforms
• Marketing Manager - Keeps the communication flowing, promotes events and explores fundraising or sponsorship opportunities
• Social Coordinator - Plans events and activities for members (eg trivia night, pub nights)
• Ordinary Members (2) - Help out any way they can

2 positions are then appointed by the committee - the Coaching Director and Public Officer.
