PRESENTATION NIGHT

Hey there everyone,
I hope this email actually gets to you all!
VENUE
How is this coming along? We really need to confirm it by this weekend, or the latest before the game next week so there is enough time to print tickets & spread the word.
Has anyone spoken to Eva about the places she had already rung? (Eva: eva.so@florey.edu.au)
- Tables seat 8-10 people
- Need to physcially look at the venue to confirm everyone will be able to see the "main stage"
- Meal prices NO MORE than $45 per head (otherwise people won't come)
- 2 course meal with some dessert is ideal
- Aiming to seat 100 people (Reds + partners)
If anyone has a good idea, speak with Tahnee, Theresa or Miles, who are currently searching out venues (hopefully). I think Rosemary had some ideas also?
Miles was also looking into possible places for an afterparty - probably best to wait till we know where the venue will be so it can be around the same area.
TICKETS
Kelly is able to print them off - are you also designing them or know someone that can? Could they be ready to hand out at trainings week starting 18th of August at the latest?

Chappy & Kelly - will organise the running sheet etc etc
- Roxy is able to provide microphone & speakers etc (?confirm?)
ENTERTAINMENT
- Dan & Jimmy will organise either some skit (like previous years) or an all in game (like last year) or something... anyone got any ideas?
- Who is in charge of music?
AWARDS
- Dave W has already reminded himself about the MIP & MVP glasses.
- Chappy will send out a club email about the sphincter awards & organise the prizes
DECORATIONS
Roxy's gunna make the place look beautiful
QUESTIONS
- Are we going to get people to organise their tables before the event, if so, RSVP to me (1 wk before?)
- Do we collect money before the night and on the night (people who have paid full fees including the social levy & have attended AGM & another social function receive $20 off their ticket - who has the list that attended this years AGM?)

Hi Everyone!
Firstly, I'd like to invite everyone to use the website to discuss our presentation night issues - you just need to click 'add commment' and type away.
**WE HAVE A VENUE** After some hard yakka, Tahnee has trekked around Melb to seek and ideal place, and decided the RedBack Hotel on Flemington Road that some of us girls looked at after training on Wed will work well.
Ticket prices will be $45 ($25 for people that went to the AGM + 1 other social function). If we end up negotiating a cheaper price than this, it will be put towards a free drink for everyone, as Kelly is printing up the tickets to hand out this week (thanks to Kelly and her brother for the pretty design & all the printing).
Food will be decided this week.
Roxy is looking into having a big cake made at her work in the shape of a volleyball. YUM.
We can take a Karaoke machine to the venue (roxy - are you still able to provide this, is there anything we need to provide?). Some thoughts for our 'entertainment specialists' Dan & i cant remember who else to think about:
-putting song names in a hat and randomly choosing songs for each team to sing to have a sing off throughout the night?
-some song for div 1 to sing/act at the start of the night as the entertainment part
-something else you guys are already working out?
Are we getting people to buy tickets and just sit anywhere on the night? Or are we getting people to organise their own tables and let us know? Probably should work this out before we start collecting money!
