Western Region Volleyball Championships

On Sunday May 10th (Mother's Day) the Western Region Volleyball Championships were held at St Bernard's College. Renegades Juniors were involved in 5 different teams including the Senior Boys Champions and Junior Boys Champions teams. The Victoria Under 17 White team (including Leigh Fletcher MD2 White) won the Senior Boys division from SBC 2 which was comprimised of many Junior State League players who played Saturday. While the Junior Boys Division was taken out by an undefeated, winning every set they played, SBC Reds team made up primarily of our other Junior State League team.

A team comprimising several Division 2 White players didn't qualify for the finals, but draw all games played on sets, however lost many on points. This team managed to beat the otherwise unchallenged Victorian Under 17 White team in the first set played.
