Earlier today, Volleyball Team Australia Men were defeated by world no.4,
Italy, in straight sets (17-25, 9-25, 16-25) to record its first lost at the
FIVB Men's World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo, Japan.  Italy
dominated all facets of the game as the Australian attack struggled to hit
past the well-formed Italian block. read more »

On May 15, Volleyball Team Australia Men defeated Greece 3 : 1 (13-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-23) to take out the best of three series 2 matches to 1 as it continues its preparation for the Olympic Qualification Tournament in

At the 2007 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Cup in Japan, the Australian men's team recorded a 5-set victory over South Korea on the weekend to get their tournament off to a great start.

The Volleyball Team Australia Men (VTAM) defeated world number 8 Argentina in the last of their 4 match series leading up to the Olympic Games next month.

Playing in Argentina, the VTA Men lost a tight opening match of the tour on Friday, July 16, going down 1:3 in four close sets (22 - 25, 23 - 25, 26 - 24, 25 - 27) . read more »

Aussie Men Win Olympics Berth

Despite losing their last match to Iran, the Volleyball Team Australian Men have qualified for the 2004 Athens Olympics. They did it by the smallest of margins though, edging out China on the ladder by no more than 10 points over the seven qualifying tournament matches - the teams were equal on both match wins and total sets won and lost. read more »
