With another season of state league rapidly approaching, it's time to start shaking off the holiday excesses and getting back inside for some volleyball action. This year's indoor training program is scheduled to start on Monday January 18 for the girls, and Tuesday January 19 for the guys at the Melbourne University Sports Centre.

Dear All,
As a reminder the meeting regarding the New Zealand trip for the South Pacific Volleyball Challenge is on tonight Monday 5th October at Melbourne Uni Gym in the grand stand stairs at 7pm (should only take 20 mins). For any that can't make it tonight but have an interest please email me with details so I can let you no try out dates, cost etc.
Please note if not enough players turn up tonight this trip with not go ahead.

Renegades are represented in the 2009 VVL Semi finals in 5 out of 6 divisions! Get out to the state volleyball centre this Saturday to support the players and carry all 5 teams into the next round of the finals.

Volleyball Victoria are running a tournament 2 weeks before the start of this years state league season. This is one of the clubs official tournaments and we expect all our players to make themselves available.

A requirement (technically an old one, but which will apparently be enforced this year) is that each team that duties as state league must have qualified referees or else suffer some sort of hideous fate (loss of match points from memory, nasty stuff). Indoor training is starting earlier than usual for our state league teams this year and the men will be in the gym getting the balls out starting this Tuesday. If you're intending to play for one of our state league teams then this is the training session you want to get to.
