Hi all,
Just a reminder you only have a few days left to upload your images onto the reds website. The committee is meeting this sunday and a winner will be selected at the meeting, so post your images on the website before sunday. There are no restrictions and we will look at every picture uploaded.
The winner will get a free entry at presentation night.

One of the schools we work with (Academy of Mary Immaculate) is looking for some umpires to help out next Tuesday from 9:15am - 3:45pm. Want to earn some cash? Then they want to pay YOU! Drop me a line at eric@renegades.com.au and I'll put you in contact with the right people.
As we did last year, we are organising a new photo competition this year as well! The idea is that you take pictures of some renegade court action and post it on the website. The committee will be the judge at the next meeting, and the winner will win the grand prize of a free entry at this years presentation night.
The University of Melbourne Orientation/ Sports Clubs Day is on Friday 23rd July from 11-1pm at North Court. As usual, the Reds will have a table to recruit newbies, hence we need volunteers to get people to join in our fantabulous awesomely great volley club :D
Interested in coaching at the club...now or in the future, then here is an opportunity to get qualified. There is a Level 1 Coaching course this Sunday. Visit the VVI website and go to the "Coaching" tab, choose the Level 1 from the list to get more information.
Kristy has kindly volunteered her services as a training physiotherapist to the Club for games on Saturdays. She will be available all day for standard physio services, such as pre-game taping.
The Chinese team who were scheduled to play an exhibition match again our Men's Honours team ran into some difficulty in Hong Kong and are only expected to arrive in Melbourne saturday, early afternoon.
So our exhibition game will be moved to somewhere next week, after Vic State Cup. No need to rock up at Saint Bernards tonight.
We'll keep you posted when the game will be played!

The money raised at the 2009 Trivia night is going towards subsidising a new, one off Hoodie for club members. Unfortunately, the progress in making this happen has so far been quite slow – we have come up with one possible design but it has the potential to be vastly improved upon (see attached for current design).

Hot on the heels of our last photo competition, the clubs great minds all sat down together and thought long and hard about interesting things that we could do. Then we decided to do the same thing again!
