Club veteran David Warwick and his lovely wife Kate are pleased to announce the arrival of their second child over the weekend. Callum popped in a few days earlier than expected at 8.08pm on Saturday night and tipped the scales at 7lb 9oz. Callum's very settled and healthy, and Kate's great.

A few of us have recently hit some milestones (like turning 30) and are realising that fitness isn't a given like it once was, it actually takes a bit of work. Unfortunately, laziness means that heading out for a run or gym session isn't going to happen as much as it should, and in the meantime the off season spare tyre is constantly inflating.

Details:
My housemate Ben (not volleyball-related what so ever) and I are organizing a “Housewarming and Citizenship celebration party” on the 25th of October at our place in 98a Elgin street, Carlton. (the house is just down the alley, follow the noise). Thats right, soon I'll be singing Waltzing Mathilda, get drafted for the ANZAC and make a jury appearance in court as an Aussie.
Mark it in your agenda and come along to see me put a shrimp on the barbie while I am bragging about Donald Bradmans record and scull another stubby of VB. Ben will give you guided tours in and around the house every 15 minutes.
Tours start somewhere in the late afternoon, but that will be confirmed later. More details regarding dress code to be announced as well.

Now as you all should hopefully be aware, The Renegades Presentation Night is fast approaching on the evening of the 13th Sept.
For those new and not so new to the club a series of awards are given called the Sphincter Awards - some humorous, some not so humorous, mainly dependant on you being the giver or receiver of the award.
Critics Choice claim that this is "one of the events of the year - a must attend, you'd be crazy to miss it!" That's right - Honours and Div 2 women present '2008 Beijing Olympics' Trivia Night. Book it in: Saturday 26th July.
Renegades first ever casino night was a blast! We had prizes, we had poker faces and we all had plenty of luck. Big THANK YOU to Tommy Hals, Reece White, Scott Phillips and the Honours men for making the night enjoyable and exciting.
